About Me
So, if you made it this far I guess you would like to know a little bit about me. Welp, here you go...
I've always been captivated by the art of image-making. My early exposure to creativity came from my grandmother, a college art teacher, who kick-started my artistic adventure by gifting me a modest film camera. Guided by her encouragement, I immersed myself in photography, capturing moments that would later unfold before my eyes as developed film. That defining moment marked the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of light and frames. A little later in life, growing up as a skate rat kid, I always had a camera with me. Capturing my friends skateboarding as well as the lifestyle and skate culture would shape how I looked at the world and told stories.
Currently, I proudly hold the role of Executive Creative Director at TCShadowlight, a Leola-based production house. I have over 13 years of experience in the commercial production industry. My journey with TCShadowlight commenced as a still photographer, but my insatiable appetite for creative expression led me to explore various roles within the video department – from gaffer and 1st AC to DoP and Director. As I took the lead in shaping the visual identity for both TCShadowlight and its clients, my role naturally evolved into that of a Creative Director.
Irrespective of the project, I infuse a part of myself into the brand or creative endeavor. A hallmark of my approach is maintaining an adaptable style while preserving a unique identity. I believe in expressing complexity with brevity, adding a touch of drama without sacrificing substance.
Now, beyond the glitz and glamour of commercials, I'm a die-hard family man with the same loves I had at the ripe age of 12 – videos, photos, race cars, music so loud it can wake the neighbors, and pizza that can make your taste buds dance. If you've made it this far in my creative autobiography, cheers to you! Thanks for hanging in there, and I'm pumped about the chance to create magic together!
